That’s a problem.

There plenty of long posts that take a long time to get through, but are ultimately poorly written diatribes. Conversely, there is no shortage of short posts with tons of insight that require little time to get through; in fact most great blog posts follow this rule.

I am all for thinking up new ways of ranking information to unseat linking and voting, but time spent reading just doesn’t fit the bill.
