Cos I’m first?
Why do I need to be there? Because I spend so long submerged in technology that I practically think digitally, therefore its a natural progression to go to a conference on Thinking Digital.
As a young entrepreneur running my startup from a field in rural Northumberland (not far from Newcastle) Thinking Digital sounds absolutely unmissable! Inspiring speakers, innovative ideas, fascinating people – what a marvellous mixture! The chance to be there would give me priceless inspiration and encouragement…
It’s really exciting that a conference like this with such high-profile speakers is being held up here in the North-East!
I really need to be at Thinking Digital because people are expecting me to be there and I have to disappoint.
Even if I don’t make it we can still meet for a pint, or at BarCampNorthEast on the Saturday and Sunday.
At Senokian we are currently launching our new web application Tactile CRM; a conference such as Thinking Digital will help expand on the activities we are currently working on (and will have worked on) and experimented with by the time the conference comes round.
I would like to think we will have learnt from the things we have done using digital media, some of our mistakes, and be able to share these with other attendees during the networking and social times. The themes and workshops seem to gel well with what we are thinking and the expert views, opinions and feedback from other delegates will be invaluable. We are also trying to share our ideas at http://www.senokian.com/barking/category/launch-a-web-app/
The other web systems we are working on launching are based around online collaboration, managing data and small team working – both from end users and our own small UK based team.
I also went to university at Newcastle and the foundations were just being laid [for the Sage] last time I went – it would be great to go back and see the Sage/slug completed!
Great news that such an event is being hosted in the North East of England and a great location to base it at.
Being based here can have its real disadvantages when trying to find local, talented people to work with. This is an ideal opportunity to get together with like minded people in the area.
Fantastic to see this happening. Well done to all those contributing.
An ideal ‘networking event bound to inspire.
