UK’s AdJug ad marketplace hooks up with German marketer
by Mike Butcher on March 10, 2008

German online marketing group Tomorrow Focus is taking a 17 percent stake in London-based web ads marketplace AdJug. TF and existing investor Balderton Capital have also invested about £3.3 million pounds ($6.5 million dollars) in a second round of funding. AdJug won “several million dollars” in July from Balderton Capital and Espotting founder Seb Bishop. AdJug will also get TF ad inventory (initially 100 million ad impressions). AdJug’s UK business serves over 250 million ad impressions per month. The site was started last August by German eBay veteran founder Michael Stephanblome and former Espotting European head Jaya Satish.
