It’s just over a week until TechCrunch Pitch! in London next Thursday and the excitement is building. People have been clamouring for tickets, VCs and investors are down to come and we have had a truckload of entries from startups who want to pitch.

The startups selected by TechCrunch editorial (no-one will be paying to pitch, they come free) will be announced on the day (let’s keep it exciting, huh?) but for now I can release the final tranche of tickets for the event (only 20, sorry, as we are restricted on venue size). They should go like hot-cakes. Over 100 people are down to come.

Get the last 20 tickets here!

In the meantime, I’d like to thank our sponsors who have stepped up to the plate to support this event:

  • I missed this the first time round, so glad I saw this! We’ll be coming to pitch an unannounced project we’re working on. I have no idea if it’s of interest to this crowd, but if you don’t ask, you don’t get in my experience.

If nothing else, it’ll be good experience for us. Thanks Mike.

  • We’re really sorry to be missing this event!

The TechCrunch meetup in Prague was brilliant – a really great chance to meet with the like-minded – so I’m sorely jealous about not attending.

Our bootstraps just don’t stretch far enough to get us to London.

We work from South Bohemia & currently have the roofers in (putting on beautiful larch shakes). I hope we can make it to the next UK TechCrunch event.

If anyone’s interested in the pitch we would have liked to make, you can find it on youtube or omnisio.

ps if you’re pitching – remember you can’t hold prompt cards and a microphone at the same time!!!

Hi Alastair, looking forward to breaking bread with you at TCPitch!

  • Great event Mike, your efforts are appreciated! Lot’s of good free advice, feedback and networking opportunities. My only grumble was the lack of company names on badges, making it very hard to get to speak to people you think you need to.
