Agree that it's huge to show skin in the game. Additionally it's not easy being an entrepreneur or early member of a founding team. It's a big cultural hold-up I keep trying to break. Being an entrepreneur is not the easy life and the more you have invested in it, the harder I'm sure your team will work. There's too much on the line. Shafqat - We keep learning as we grow from our own startup and agreed on more product focus. Hopefully the feedback from this year will follow on that so you'll have to keep us honest on this front. Would love to hear from more entrep/startups so this is a good forum or you can discuss more on the Seedcamp Forum as well. Jas – it’s a good point you bring up. I thought that was the one thing lacking, and provided feedback to a lot of the SeedCamp VCs. They need a techie/product guy to pair with Reshma. Someone like PG from Ycombinator, who can focus obsessively on the product and the development side. I'm sure this will result in a materially improved SeedCamp 08! Good luck Reshma... Individual/angel investors are critical for early stage startups and are often a great help at the right stage.
