Both products and management are good. Whatever status of Mrs X or Mr Y, Mippin worths some investments to expand more and more. That’s a fact.

Mike – this is interesting, I agree.

I don’t follow the mobile space closely but as you and I sat at Being-Digital I thought Judy Gibbons came across really well, better than most VCs do in a public forum, and I thought the Mippin guy’s pitch was far and away the best.

I agree this is great for the Mippin guys but I disagree that it necessarily means that when a VC becomes CEO she or he is confident of your ability to execute. Couldn’t it mean the complete opposite, and is perhaps confident of the market opportunity and product stuff, but perhaps not of the management’s ability to follow through..?

Either way, I use and enjoy the Mippin service on my trusty N95, liked seeing a British woman with a great track record across the pond, and hope for great things from Mippin soon

mippin is a real asset to the UK mobile startup community and they are really innovating in terms of the user-experience on mobile, building features that have never been done before.
