WebMission09, the initiative to take 20 UK and Irish tech startups to Silicon Valley has decided on the 20 companies it will be taking. There are 18 new companies, plus 2 Alumni from WM08 (Huddle and Trampoline Systems). If you want to know what all this is about then check out our previous coverage.
So the companies include:
Cereproc, Concrete-media, Corebridge, Freshnetworks, Replify, Seewhy, Sosius, Tactilecrm. And the rest are:

Well done to all the other companies on the Web Mission 09 trip. Looking forward to meeting you all.
And while they are over there, Freshnetworks can pay 37signals for that shocking knockoff of their logo.
If they are claiming to be social media/community experts, there’s no way they can plead ignorance.
Lot of quality companies in this lot. Great to see Yuuguu from Manchester among them. I thought Alfresco was not a UK company. Shows how little I know. Well done guys.
Congratulations to all of the winners! Looks like Huddle won two years in the row. You’d like that the contest would promote new companies and not allow anyone to win consecutive years. Seems a little strange.
Good Programme, but I think that there too many collaboration/Enterprise applications on the list. More diversity next time.
Mike – is it worth mentioning that the focus of the Web Mission this year was on ‘Enterprise 2.0′ (hence the focus of the companies attending)?
Rick – if you read the article you’ll notice that two slots were reserved for alumni companies (i.e. firms that attended last year) – alongside Trampoline we’re very happy to be attending again and I hope we can provide some continuity and guidance for firms visiting the Valley for the first time.
Great: mostly business applications having a real business model.
Some interesting apps there.
Not sure I’m looking forward to POIP (Post Over Internet Protocol) becoming a common term – thanks for that viapost, good idea though!
Hope we’ll make it next year, I could do with some sun!
Hi and congrats to all other companies on this trip. The best of luck to you all.
