		<description>[...] ciao barbara, sinceramente leggendo il blog di twitter (sempre aggiornato sulle sue novità, http://blog.twitter.com/) e facendo una ricerca in rete, non mi pare che si parli mai di “pagina dedicata” o comunque di una pagina che abbia delle particolari funzioni perché gestita da un’azienda, da una testata giornalistica o da una rete televisiva. Come puoi vedere tu stessa SkyNews ha una pagina su Twitter, ma è identica a qualunque altra pagina di Twitter. Quello che la contraddistingue è sicuramente lo sfondo, sul quale è stato applicato il logo di SkyNews (ma tieni conto che lo sfondo è personalizzabile per chiunque). Vedo però che SkyNews si serve di un servizio esterno (TwitterFeed –http://twitterfeed.com/) che permette che ci sia un aggiornamento automatico della pagina di Twitter, probabilmente ogni volta che il sito di SkyNews lancia una nuova notizia. SkyNews ha seguito molto l’onda ultimamente, tanto che ha dato il via ad un’iniziativa che probabilmente avrà seguito: avere un corrispondente da Twitter (qui due link dai quali puoi apprendere la notizia: http://uk.techcrunch.com/2009/03/05/sky-news-realises-news-breaks-first-on-twitter-not-tv-creates-a-..., http://uk.techcrunch.com/2009/03/05/sky-news-realises-news-breaks-first-on-twitter-not-tv-creates-a-twitter-correspondent/). You&#039;ve acknowledged that they actually did have an account, yet obviously not quite enough to change the article which says they didn&#039;t. I guess it gets in the way of the story a bit :)

Also, whilst you&#039;re right that having an account doesn&#039;t prove they&#039;re using Twitter to gather news, you were the one saying that not having one showed that they weren&#039;t. Now that it turns out that they did you&#039;re revising your position to &quot;yeah, well you might not be using it&quot; ?

For what it&#039;s worth, I&#039;m skeptical that they&#039;ve been using it as a &#039;valuable medium&#039; for that long too - but these types of announcements always extend the truth in some way and it&#039;s not the worst I&#039;ve seen.
