Because I know the company, and your comment made me laught.

BTW, congrats for the MTV deal. It's a good choice to stop the contest community-driven website, and just focus on big company deals.

Disclosure: I am working with Amuso as a consultant at present.

I have an online poker background and have been attracted to Amuso for a lot of different reasons. There is a strong management team, a great development team out in Spain, and a product that can monetise communities. I think it is great the sort of deals that are being done by Amuso. Combining micropayments with great publishers seems like a winning strategy.

There are many similarities with poker in my experience. The requirement for liquidity, a fun and engaging proposition, a way to make some money all ring true. Quizzes and trivia capitalise on the desire to be or seem cleverer than your peers which adds a great social angle.

I think it is definitely a company worth tracking and trying out as there are products and ideas in the pipeline that hopefully should make Amuso fly.

Congrats on the partnership! I think online newspapers will continue to look for partnerships like these to increase engagement with their users.
