If you use Firefox you can already compare True Knowledge, Wolfram and Alpha and Google simultaneously by installing a couple of add-ons.

Download the True Knowledge extension:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/11738

and the Wolfram Alpha equivalent here

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/12006

and then use Google as normal. You always get the Google results (at the same speed as normal), you get the WA results (if there are any) at the side and the True Knowledge results at the top.

The problem with this is it still has the branding on each site, which can influence your thinking. A superior job was done a few weeks ago by a Microsoft employee which compares Bing, Google and Yahoo results, without any branding:
http://blindsearch.fejus.com/
The Yahoo results are usually so bad that they can be dismissed immediately, letting you compare Bing vs Google.

Hmmm...

Looks like somebody needs to tell him his site doesn't work without the "www".

Guess that's what happens when you try to build a site in 5 hours though - You don't pay attention to .htaccess or DNS enough.

Search is one of my pet interests, and Bing vs Google looks really fun. The issue with everything I've read about Bing though is that it's a solution in search of problem - only geeks like me with an interest in search care which is better.

The average Joe is happy with Google, and the pain of changing is too much for them, so as great as it is that there are clever people like Domagoj Pavlesic doing things like this, it's important not to forget the bigger picture.
