It's a strange world in property portals at the moment. Zoopla, which is almost unknown as a consumer brand and of limited reach in the industry (and has less than 450,00 UVs a month) is buying propertyfinder.com which hovvers between No.2 and No.3 in the market with 2+ million UVs a month and is well-regarded and known by agents. You do wonder what the various owners of propertyfinder have been up to since its launch in 1995 - several years BEFORE rightmove. It is also debatable that the two make for complementary businesses - one is a pay-per-lead and the other a tenancy model?
