The Europas, the TechCrunch Europe Awards 2009 for European and EMEA tech companies, will be held on July 9 in London. Over 400 entrants were voted on by the industry and these results merged with those from 19 expert advisors.

Glad My Name is E made it to the shortlist. Kind of impressive how an unfunded startup can make so many waves. I’ve been told they’re bootstrapped even today. Poken probably has way more users, but their model seems shady, hypey and the UI… not even gonna get into that.
