While this product is an interesting service and concept it just does not provide the user with enough information to add to an analytic or research package.

For example when searching for a term and I am presented with the line chart displaying the stories and community metrics for a time period I cannot adjust the time period on the chart to see either a larger span of time or another subsection so I can compare these metrics to lets say a campaign launch or new story.

Also when mousing over the line chart and I get a popover that says twitter: 32, meaning 32 reactions on twiter I want to be able to click on that and see all of those 32 conversations for that day. I also want to be able to go through all of those stories where my search term is mentioned. Right now unless I missed a hidden button somewhere I am limited by the top stories which may not be relevant to my search and the recently updated items.

The same comments about the pie chart and also I should be able to dissect the pie chart further by dividing the pieces as to what the content actually is. For example if I click on the worpress piece I want to know that 75% of the wordpress piece were from articles posted and 25% were comments.

Data visualization is a hot item in today's world and I am sure this tool will make a few account execs very happy by allowing them to go back to their clients and tell them, look people are talking about their brand online. However this tool just does not provide enough relevant data for a campaign comparison or even to be considered a nice additional to an analytic tool set.

Lemon,

This has nothing to do with cell phones and location-based services and GPS.

We track comments around blog posts and news articles in close to real time. If this blog post on Techcrunch gets shared on Twitter, FriendFeed, Digg, other blogs or sites, we get all of those comments into a single threaded conversation.

We're an online conversation/comments aggregator not a phone app that follows you around.

"UberVU provides a single location to track conversations across multiple locations and sites."

what the fck is this? why is this needed;

don't cell phones already track you via GPS.

more crap from young inexperienced wanna-bees who can't get real job, to get real experience, to make real products.
