I am the program manager of Vodafone Mobile Clicks project.

Hereby, I would to dispute the comment by Mike Conradi.

Start-ups own their products and related revenues. Vodafone is a neutral enabler here.

I think you might be thinking of a different competition, http://apps.vodafone.co.uk . This is not the same, nor does it have the same terms.

I read the small print. It says to give ALL rights to Vodafone and get nothing at all in terms of royalties from sales of the app. Here’s the relevant extract:

“You acknowledge and agree that other than the prizes granted herein you shall have no rights to any royalties, payment or other form of consideration in respect of Promoter’s (or someone else on behalf of Promoter) development and general commercial exploitation of your Entry (and the information contained therein) or the Application. “
