I really like mind mapping for solving complex problems when there is no obviously direct way to find the solution or best course of action. The ability to work online with multiple people editing the same mind map is pretty compelling.

@kaya, I totally agree. That’s how most apps for the Palm platform were sold and it makes sense for the developers and the consumers.

By the way, xmind.net is also a collaborative online mind mapping tool. No iPhone version but its open source and free.

I don’t like the $6.99 price tag I see.

The App Store really needs to find a way to let people try apps out without having to drop their cash up front.
