milton@velinsky.com....I never used VC in the past. I wuld like to learn how to do so. I've had a big success licensing magnetics to a NYSE company. Good royalties. I now have 4 important products. I'd like to start with my health care item. I have videos and full explanation. How can we talk? I'm elderly and would need full time management or a person with intelligence to take over. Please tell me what I should do. Thank you

Hi there,

I read the interview and it was interesting enough, but I didn't get one thing.

There is a lot of speculation about what basically Twitter produces. Real time data.

Mr. Klein moves it a little more saying that it's not about only Twitter. He spoke about the Real Time WEB space the web is moving forward.

How do you understand the sentence "there’s real-time enterprise data that will change people’s supply-chain management and retail pricing"?

Has that any relationship with the notion of Real Time Web Data? and if so how you got it?

One of the most interesting comments in this interview is about the unique nature of European Entrepreneurs. Saul is correct in the fact that European startups must think international markets from day 1. If your local market only has 4 million people (Norway), then you have to get out of the country as quickly as possible in order to keep from diluting your concept.

If you grow up in the Bronx, New York you learn street smarts fast. If you grow up in Europe, you learn quickly how to adapt to different cultures and smaller group behaviors. Most European entrepreneurs do not realize the advantage this gives them over their USA competitors.

Encourage more European Entrepreneurs to StartupGlobal!

Sadly, Spotify is based London, registered in Luxemburg and developed in Stockholm, Sweden.

I also got decieved by the "Swedish" company and on top of it I've had so much problems with the service from connection to streaming for a prolonged period of time that I greatly regret buying a one year premium service just to support a "Swedish" startup, especially as more and more of the artists (example: Rammstein) I listen to remove themselves from Spotify's library when bands like Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Metallica weren't there to begin with.

These issues all highlight the special European startup conditions- they're dodging negative feedback (esp. in comparison to Pandora, Rhapsody, etc) while benefiting from networking and customerbase in London and enjoying the low taxes of Luxemburg.

Oh my god, I can't believe I'm reading this. If you have such a narrow view of the World, you shouldn't even be allowed to comment!

Why is it when people talk about the "real-time" web all they think about is Twitter. Twitter is not real-time. In fact most of the apps you mentioned above have a delay of up to a minute before they refresh. That does not constitute real-time.

If you are talking about coverage of events for example, Scribblelive.com is real-time. It's white label product creates real web pages that live on your site in your brand not out in the ether of Twitter where the content you create is lost.
