TalentSoft secures €1.6 million in VC for its HR software

[FRANCE] TalentSoft, a French software startup which has SAAS software enterprise products has finalised a new round of funding with Seventure Partners to the tune of €1.6 million. The idea is to further develop its products which are designed to perform staff appraisals and something called “talent planning”.

TalentSoft has, in the last 6 months won business from Toys R Us, Next, Aeroports de Paris, AG2R La Mondiale and Boulanger SA. It looks like in these harsh economic times, the ability to manage staffing is a pretty important thing. I just hope people don’t go throwing themselves out of windows after getting a bad rap from a bit of software.

There is a lot of interest in tech startups which can appraise staff right now, like Trollim and Codility – which both save companies cash by evaluating developers before the join.

This company looks interesting, although they should urgently replace the person who designed their website front-end.

Note for Techrunch editors: please replace the link in the very first word “TalentSoft” (hypen is missing and link leads to a Chinese website)
