I agree that is a very good alternative or even better than GA based on the features I have seen.

We've been trying out Woopra during it's beta phase and in general it's a pretty nice alternative to Analytics. The real-time monitoring gives an interesting insight into what your visitors actually get up to on site! We look forward to seeing how the product develops with keen interest.

Thank you for this review and commentary on Woopra. We got a lot of input from our thousands of beta testers and members, and spent a lot of time reviewing their input and coming up with the plans as they are now. We made a lot of changes and will be making more as we move through this first phase of implementation.

What we can't talk about right now but only hint at are the new features we are working on for the next couple versions of Woopra. Improvements that are going to really complete head on with other analytics programs, making Woopra not just very powerful for tracking your website or blog's stats, but things you can't get with lower priced analytics.

One of the most exciting features we just released are Custom Reports. We want to give our users the power to customize their data reports to meet their needs, not what information we tell them they need to know.

Can you tell I'm excited about Woopra! :D It's a great group of people and highly innovative and creative. It's fun working with them, but also fantastic to see how the whole analytics industry is growing and changing with the competition.

Thanks again and welcome to TechCrunch!

This looks like a very interesting alternative to Google analytics. Only time will tell if people are really prepared to pay for the additional features
