Netbiscuits scores millions in funding for mobile cloud software platform

Netbiscuits, which enables development, publication and monetization of cross-platform mobile websites and apps, has raised ‘several millions of Euros’ worth of funding from T-Venture, the venture capital arm of Deutsche Telekom, and Creathor Venture.

The extra capital will be used to grow Netbiscuits’ business in the United States, and for expansion in key markets like Asia and Europe.

Netbiscuits’ mobile cloud software platform is said to be used by companies like eBay, Time Inc., Universal Music Group, MTV and Spiegel Online.

According to the press release, Netbiscuits currently enables more than 10,000 mobile sites and apps enabled, facilitates mobile services in 50+ countries and serves more than 4.4 billion mobile page content re-quests each month.

Netbiscuits was founded by Michael Neidhoefer, Guido Moggert, Christian Reitz and Martin Suess back in 2000, and today boasts roughly 90 employees and has offices in Germany, USA, UK and Singapore. The company has been backed by Creathor since 2007.
