Fubles.com, the Italian social sport community just raised €300,000 from well-known Italian investors.

The round was led by Pino Partecipazioni, an investor in Yoox, Tiscali and Venere. Other investors include Marco Magnocavallo, who recently sold Blogo, Gianandrea Cherubini, a partner at Vantage Investment Management and Carmine Giangiulio of Unicredit.

Fubles is an online platform where you can organize sports matches with your friends. It provides features such as the handling of rosters, game results, feedback and statistics. Players see a list of geolocalized matches they can join. Organizers can finally stop chasing people and participants can easily follow their matches. The main feature might perhaps be ratings, as Fubles prompts participants to rate each other after each match.

The company was founded in October 2009 by a young team of engineers from Politecnico di Milano, and is now one of the most active sports communities in Europe, boasting over 25,000 users and more than 7,000 matches already played. The capital will be used to refine the product and expand into other cities in Italy (most games are played in Milan), and internationally starting with New York and Madrid.
